In recent years, it has become a tradition that every two years, the country's health science faculties organise a rotating scientific competition for their best students.
The event is not only about student presentations, but also an opportunity to strengthen cooperation between faculties and the profession. This year, Miskolc took on the organisation of the event, which was attended by representatives of the co-faculties, the National Public Health Centre, the Hungarian Association of Public Health Nurses and the leading delegation of the Hungarian Association of Public Health Nurses. The Universities responsible for the training of midwives in Hungary (6 in total: University of Debrecen, University of Miskolc, University of Pécs, Semmelweis University, University of Szeged, University of Szeged, Széchenyi István University) delegated students and lecturers committed to scientific activities to the Midwife Forum.
The two-day event was welcomed by Dr. Emőke Kiss-Tóth, Dean of the University of Miskolc, who introduced the students and guests from different parts of the country to the unique spirit of the University of Miskolc, the wonder of "Selmec", and then enriched the programme with an excursion to Lillafüred in the afternoon of the first day.
